Great Clinic

Posted by b_roby on 10/21/2009

Davis Blvd Animal Clinic staff and doctors have always been so very patient and kind. They have no problem answering ALL of my questions about the health of my dog . They understand how important he is to us and I could not ask for better health care for him. I can honestly say our dog is not too excited about going in the exam room (he is not fond of having his temp checked) BUT he is always very happy to visit with everyone before and after his checkup. The staff always tells him hello they know his name before I even check him in. They make me feel like our dog is as important to them as he is to us

my name is Chris Tempest, on the 18th of June i found a stray dog left on the side of the road with an electrical cord tied around his neck and he was badly beaten in Acton/granbury area. After going from veterinarian after veterinary and being turned down for medical services. I ended up in north richland hills at Davis boulevard animal clinic as soon as i went in the door me and the stray were ushered into the vets office were the very determined veterinarians worked feverishly to find out the extent of the strays injuries. very quickly it was determined that the extent of the injuries included blunt force trauma to the head, multiple lacerations and internal cranial bleeding. never once during the whole time we were there did the conversation turn to youthanization. they treated the stray as if it were there own dog. within the hour they had him treated for all his injuries. not even 24 hours after treatment the stray was eating, drinking and even walking down the stairs, and its all thanks to the staff with hearts or gold at Davis animal clinic. there is a place in my heart for the entire staff. there outstanding service, clean and friendly atmosphere, and dedication to the preservation of canine and feline life is what makes them number one in there field. for the best service for your four legged friend i recommend DAVIS BOULEVARD ANIMAL CLINIC

BAD SERVICE!!!!

RUDE customer service when calling to inquire about a problem with a pet!! Lady there actually hung up on my daughter while she was talking. I was a previous customer and had referred my daughter to them. They have just lost me as a customer as well as anyone else I can tell!!! My daughter ended up calling another vet and was talked to and treated with respect.

Poor excuse for Vet Services

After spending some time with the employees and veterinarians at this clinic, I was appalled at the lack of time and care both animals and owners received. Appointments seemed to be packed into small time slots, and the technicians are less than hospitable or knowledgable. I called recently to get an estimate for a new addition to my family, and was told that I could "not afford" the expenses for treating a simple case of kennel cough, around and exceeding $150. I called around and most clinics charged $35-60 for an office visit, and learned that in most cases, no antibiotics or antihistimines would be needed...most cases needed to run its course. I couldn't believe that the bitter receptionist would defer me from seeking treatment at this clinic rather than just give me a viable estimate. I will NEVER take my animals back to this clinic!

To whipflip540, I find it hard to believe that someone on my staff told you that you could not afford treatment for your new addition. How would we know your finanical situation? In addition I am not aware of any practices or veternarians that opt not to treat infectious tracheobronchitis (what you refer to as kennel cough) but rather advise an owner to let it run it's course. I would like to invite you to call me personally to discuss the matter. Respectfully, Chris Peek DVM
